Detailed overview
Distant Force is George A. Roberts's inside memoir of Teledyne and Henry E. Singleton, written against outside accounts by business journalists, financial analysts, pundits, and later admirers who saw the company mostly through stock performance. Roberts's claim is that Teledyne cannot be understood only as a conglomerate chart or as a famous buyback case.
